Fighting with Caterers & Event Planners

Warning: If you are a caterer, you will go on and offended, if you certainly Mobile Bartender, chances are you can be offended BY a catering company!

In my experience so Mobile Bartender, I have often realized that myself and my bartending staff has always fall upon problems with caterers. Surprisingly there are power struggles and ego-trips at play with both parties... especially you can been hired by the Host, NOT the party caterer.

Caterers and party planners enjoy having full control of everything and in addition they may start telling you how to make simple your job or treat that appeals to you one of their team members.

This quick article is intended to help YOU (the Smartphone Bartender) "deal" with caterers within your events. So, let's ALL put our egos aside and take some advice that does work:

1. Caterers ARE Avoided Freaks! - They should be, that's why they may be so good at the things they're doing! So you must believe that fact and understand using the easy way their mind works if you choose to have a pleasant night while means of them

2. You BOTH want the same End Result - You and the caterer want lawsuit to be as spectacular as i can. As long as you aware that your caterer/party planner want very same outcome, you can test work better together.

3. You should be Proactive-Introduce yourself! - If you arrive at the event (or even two or three days beforehand) introduce yourself inside the caterer or whoever set in charge. It is also good to meet any staff that this caterer may have added along)

4. Offer Your Assistance - During this time period to finish setting the bar-area early and then offer help and assist with the caterer. They will appreciate this.

5. Kill them by signifies Kindness! - If you find a caterer that is being rude or treating everything poorly, react by "killing them kindness! " Compliment them to their work, their staff, their focus on detail. They LIVE of the compliments, so shower them! hint that you desire to have caterers to refer from your clients-take their biz cards

6. Include things like Leverage! - You are the MOST-desired bartender in your area (or at least you present that image! ). Ask your caterer for a few people of his/her business cards and mention that there's a LOT of clients always obtaining good caterers would you like to refer them business! http: //www.
