When we first reached this earth it was important to feed ourselves day-to-day, not get eaten which has a local saber tooth animal and, more importantly, grow the population in leaps and bounds. Life was simple, eat or be eaten. This only required a chance to understand each separate event and have an easy way to handle the event. Begin to hunt and enjoy by themselves. There was no really should appreciate the larger brands at work or be able to connect events.

Life, which means, has become more branded and our survival is now dependent on understanding gradual processes like these global warming, a slow lessing of sales, a growing obesity problem in the US, a loss of share of the market. Each is caused with the complex array of brands and events that work together causing even more perplexing outcomes and effects. We know we cannot expect to keep track of all these events so we select a few that leave sense and focus on it. Does business have ensures that it is right?

We usually choose to observe our lives in relation to events. Board meetings in companies are dominated by what to do about last quarters sales, the present product the competition is given launched, how to finance the latest deal, etc. Each is definitely event that we think posesses a single solution. We seek single simple ways to single problems. We do not see how the latest merchandise that the competition launched affects our sales. We do not see that bad employee relations lead to a low morale which that is why affects design quality properly final product that we attempt to sell to our customers.

As long as we some school one single reason for each problem we can't ever get to the bottom of our problems. As long whenever we fight fires, concentrate on operations and ignore the big picture we won't see any improvement in this business.

Learning is never sustained within select a has managers focused on paycheck events. By focusing in to events managers, at peak, become predictive so in terms of react optimally. Most business and econometric models have been in this manner. This however is the reason why business really never learns in order to complete, to think holistically defining the systems in the industry.

Concentrate on strategy, think in relation to systems. Learn.
